Karnataka CET 2016 exam application eligibility criteria


KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) will conduct by the Karnataka Examinations Authority for the candidates those who are waiting for joining in the courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BNYS, B.Pharm, Pharm D., B.V.Sc., and A.H., BE, B.Tech, B.Arch., B.Sc., This CET exam will conduct every year for the admissionof these courses. The exam details and the eligibility criteria are given in our website.

Eligibility criteria:

For MBBS and BDS:

Candidates should have pass in the 12th / 2nd PUC or equivalent with English as one of the subject and should have minimum 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

For BE and B.Tech:

Candidates should have pass in 12th / 2nd PUC or equivalent with English as one of the subject and should have minimum 45% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with Computer Science / Bio Technology / Biology / Electronics

For B.Arch:

Candidates should have pass in 12th / 2nd PUC or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subject with minimum 50% of marks

Application procedure:

Candidates can apply for the entrance exam through online from the official website

Candidates can fill the necessary details and upload their scanned photograph, signature, left hand impression and the signature of parent

Then candidates have to download the challan by entering their application number in the official website

Candidates have to pay the below mentioned application feefor the exam in the specified bank by using the challan

For General and OBC category candidates: Rs.650 (Karnataka candidates)

For SC / ST category candidates: Rs.500 (Karnataka candidates)

For candidates from outside of Karnataka: Rs.750

For candidates from outside of India: Rs.5000

Syllabus:

It will be based on the 1st and 2nd PUC syllabus prescribed by the Pre University Education of Karnataka


Exam pattern:

There are totally 240 questions will ask from 4 subjects

Each question will carry 1 mark


Physics – 60 questions,

Chemistry – 60 questions,

Mathematics – 60 questions,

Biology – 60 questions

There is no negative marking for wrong answers

Candidates have to attend the CET in OMR sheet

Candidates should have shade the correct answer in the given option

Online registration starts from: January 2016

Online registration will close in: March 2016

Admit card download from: April 2016
