The university examinations for the undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in Madras University are beginning in April. The Madras University was established in 1839. It’s one of the oldest educational organizations in India. The university has been accredited with A grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The notification and schedules for University examinations for Post Graduate and Undergraduate students have been announced. The examinations M.A.Engilsh first semester is beginning in 21st April. The second-semester exams are starting in 15th April and the exams for the third and fourth semester are starting in the first week of April. the exams for other post graduate courses like M.A Economics, M.A Tamizhiyal, M.A Telugu, M.A Philosophy, M.A Labour Management, M.A Public Administration, M.A Tourism and Travel Management, M.A Rhythmology and M.A Bharathanatiyam and other courses are also starting in April. The students are advised to make necessary preparations for the exams and verify their exam schedule from the official notification on the University website.

The exams for five-year integrated courses in M.Sc are also beginning in April first week. Management courses like M.B.A and M.A Human Resource Management and M.C.A courses are also beginning in April first week. The University follows Choice Based Credit System for Post graduate courses, so the dates for exams of various elective subjects have been announced. The CBCS systems allow the students to choose their subjects from various elective papers. The final evaluation is made by calculating the cumulative average of credits gained in each subject. The grade point system is more mature than the conventional mark based evaluation system.
