SAAT Important Dates Eligibility Criteria 2016


SAAT 2016Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test is conducting every year by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University for the admission of various UG and PG degree courses. This is the National level examination. Interested candidates can apply for SAAT 2016 from December 2015. The eligibility criteria for the examination are given below in our website.

For Under Graduate degree:

For B.Tech / Dual degree in Engineering / Management:

Candidates should have completed or appeared 12th standard or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 50% of marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and anyone of the subjects like Mathematics / Information Technology / Biology / Statistics / Computer Science, etc.,

Or candidates should have passed in Diploma in Engineering / Technology from any recognized board

For MBBS / BDS:

Candidates should have completed or appeared 12th standard or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Englishand also in entrance test

SC / ST / OBC candidates should score 40% and PH candidates should score 45% of marks

Candidates should have minimum 17 years of old and maximum 25 years as on 31st December 2015 (For SC / ST candidates 5 years relaxation)

For B.Pharm:

Candidates should have completed or appeared 12th standard or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 45% of marks withPhysics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with anyone of the subjects like Mathematics / Information Technology / Biology / Statistics / Computer Science, etc.,

Or candidates should have passed in Diploma in Engineering / Technology from any recognized board

For BHMCT:

Candidates should have completed or appeared 12th standard or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 45% of marks for General category candidates

Minimum 40% of marks for SC / ST / OBC category candidates

For B.Sc., Nursing (Basic):

Candidates should have completed or appeared 12th standard or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 45% of marks with English, Biology,Physics and Chemistry for General category candidates

Minimum 40% of marks for SC / ST / OBC category candidates

Applicants should have minimum 17 years as on 31st December 2015

Post Basic B.Sc., Nursing:

Candidates should be a member in TNAI and should passed in GNM exam

Candidates should registered under the State Nursing Council

For BA LLB and BBA LLB (5 years integrated course):

Candidates should have completed or appeared 12th standard or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 45% of marks for General category candidates

Minimum 40% of marks for SC / ST / OBC category candidates

Candidates should have minimum 20 years of old as on 1st August 2015

For Master degree:

For M.Tech:

Candidates should have completed BE / B.Tech / MCA / AIME / M.Sc., or equivalent from recognized university

Candidates should have minimum 50% of marks in qualifying exam

For M.Tech in Environmental Science and Technology:

Should have completed B.Tech in Environmental / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical /Metallurgy or M.Sc., in Environmental / Chemistry / Bio Technology / Geology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology

For M.Tech in Material Science and Technology:

Should have completed B.Tech in Electronics and CommunicationEngineering / Electrical Engineering or M.Sc., in Physics / Chemistry

For M.Tech in Biotechnology:

Should have completed BE / B.Tech in Biotechnologyor related streamsor M.Sc., in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science / MBBS / B.V.SC., / B.Pharm with Biology in their 12th standard

For M.Tech in ECE and EIE:

Should have completed M.Sc., in Electronics

For M.Tech in CSE / IT:

Should have completed M.Sc., in Computer Science / Information Technology

For M.Tech in Computer Science and Data processing:

Should have completed MCA or M.Sc., in Mathematics

For MCA:

Candidates should completed Bachelor degree with minimum 50% of marks (For General category candidates) from any recognized university

For SC / ST / OBC candidates minimum 45% of marks

Candidates should have studied Mathematics in their 12th standard / Degree

For MBA / MHA / MHTM / MHMCT:

Candidates should have completed Bachelor degree in B.Sc., / BE / B.Tech / MBBS / B.Pharm / BVSC / BHMS / BAMS / BDS / BCA / BBA or equivalent from recognized university

General category candidates should have minimum 50% of marks

For SC / ST / OBC category candidates minimum 45% of marks

For M.Pharm:

Candidates should have completed / appeared B.Pharm with minimum 50% of marks from any recognized university

For M.Sc., in Nursing:

Candidates should have completed B.Sc., in Nursing with minimum 55% of marks from recognized university with minimum 1 year experience in teaching or clinical field

Candidates should have registered in State Nursing Council as s registered Nurse and registered Midwife

For LLM:

Candidates should have completed / appeared Bachelor degree in Law / Integrated Law course or equivalent with minimum 50% of marks from recognized university
